About Roslyn Wilkins
A lifetime ago when I was in my twenties, I would come home from work, lock myself in the bathroom and work in my makeshift darkroom inhaling all those stinky chemicals. They smelled like heaven to me as I was enthralled by the whole process.
Eventually life got in the way and I gave up on photography and art in general. Several decades later the creative bug escaped from captivity and exploded in every direction. I was painting in acrylics, making collages, decorating frames and mirrors and eventually learned how to paint and glaze ceramic tiles. I even had my own kiln.
But a little voice kept nagging in the background until I could no longer avoid it. So December 2012 I bought my first DSLR, a Canon T3i, and I haven't looked back (except to take a photo!). Now I love processing my images in Lightroom and Photoshop... and once more I am enthralled!
